Russia launched its most extensive drone attack against Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, deploying 267 strike drones in a single offensive. This marks the largest use of Iranian-made drones targeting Ukrainian cities and villages.

According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the attack was part of a broader escalation over the past week, during which Russian forces launched nearly 1,150 strike drones, over 1,400 guided aerial bombs, and 35 missiles of various types.

In response, Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Ukrainian forces countering these attacks, including the Air Force, air defense units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups. He also acknowledged the efforts of emergency responders, medical personnel, and law enforcement working on the ground to mitigate the impact of the strikes.

The president emphasized the need for strengthened air defense capabilities, calling on international partners to enhance their support. He stated that achieving lasting and just peace for Ukraine requires collective efforts, underscoring the role of European and American allies in ensuring security and stability.
