On December 7, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy attended a trilateral meeting in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron and US President-elect Donald Trump.

Following the meeting, President Zelenskyy described the discussions as "productive" in a statement shared on social media.

"It was a good, productive meeting with President Trump and President Macron. President Trump, as always, demonstrated strong resolve, and I deeply appreciate that. My thanks also go to President Macron for hosting this important meeting in Paris," Zelenskyy wrote.

He revealed that the leaders focused on the situation on the battlefield, the needs of the Ukrainian people, and the pursuit of a just peace for Ukraine.

"Peace through strength is possible!" Zelenskyy concluded.
