Ukrainian President outlined the topics discussed, including strengthening sanctions against Russia, the supply of new IRIS-T air defense systems, and plans for joint weapons production in both Ukraine and Germany.

Zelenskyy added that Germany reaffirmed its strong support for Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic path.
“We also touched on our Euro-Atlantic integration. We value Germany’s clear signal: Ukraine’s future lies in NATO. It is important that all our partners share this vision,” he emphasized.
He also expressed gratitude to the Chancellor, his team, and the people of Germany for their steadfast support for Ukraine and their leadership in delivering defense assistance across Europe.
Earlier, during a joint press conference with Ukrainian Minister of Foregn Affairs Andrii Sybiha in Kyiv, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul stated that Germany would not shift its focus away from Ukraine despite emerging global crises, and dismissed Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s recent peace overtures as a cynical ploy.
