Russian forces lost another 1,160 troops, one tank, and seven armored combat vehicles over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on May 28.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,360,110.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of 42 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, seven ground robotic systems, 1,560 operational-tactical drones, 261 vehicles and fuel tankers, and three pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall, Russian equipment losses reported by Ukraine now include 11,956 tanks, 24,625 armored combat vehicles, 42,832 artillery systems, 1,806 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,397 air defense systems.

Also, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 314,902 operational-tactical drones, 4,687 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, and two submarines.

The General Staff added that 317 combat engagements took place along the front line over the past day as Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to repel Russian attacks across multiple sectors.

Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb said Ukraine’s military position now looks stronger than at any point since Russia launched its full-scale war, pointing to a sharply unfavorable casualty ratio for Moscow.

Stubb said Russia is currently losing eight soldiers for every one Ukrainian soldier killed.
