Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,200 Troops, 9 Tanks, and 57 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,200 troops, nine tanks, 57 artillery systems, and more than 2,100 UAVs over the past day, as Ukraine reported 255 combat clashes along the front.
Russian forces lost another 1,200 troops, nine tanks, five armored combat vehicles, and 57 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 7.
According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,412,250.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of five air defense systems, 15 ground robotic systems, 2,129 operational-tactical UAVs, 37 cruise missiles, 399 vehicles and fuel tankers, and five pieces of special equipment over the past day.
Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,097 tanks, 24,899 armored combat vehicles, 45,508 artillery systems, 1,917 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,478 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,848 ground robotic systems, 394,846 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,887 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 117,085 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,394 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 255 combat engagements took place between Ukrainian and Russian forces over the past day.
Earlier, reports emerged that Moldovan citizens trying to enter Russia are facing intense interrogations and pressure to sign military contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry.
Border guards are targeting men aged 18 to 60, people traveling alone, individuals holding newly issued passports, and those who have previously traveled to Ukraine or hold Russian citizenship.
