Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,270 Troops, 67 Artillery Systems, and 450 Vehicles in One Day

Russia threw more than 10,000 attack drones into the fight in a single day—and still lost another 1,270 troops, dozens of artillery systems, and hundreds of vehicles.

Russian forces lost another 1,270 troops, one tank, two armored combat vehicles, and 67 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on June 25.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,397,060.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of four multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, two ground robotic systems, 1,994 operational-tactical UAVs, 450 vehicles and fuel tankers, and six pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,057 tanks, 24,818 armored combat vehicles, 44,731 artillery systems, 1,893 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,443 air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,728 ground robotic systems, 371,882 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,787 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 111,707 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,339 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 232 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day. Russian forces were most active in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Sloviansk directions.

Over the past day, Russia carried out one missile strike using one missile and launched 75 airstrikes, dropping 262 guided aerial bombs.

Russian forces also used 10,060 attack drones and conducted 3,182 strikes on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 38 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

Earlier, reports emerged that Russia has lost more than 1,000 troops every day from June 1 to June 22, 2026, marking the first such streak since March 2025.
