Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,310 Troops, 1 Aircraft, and 7 Tanks in One Day

Russian forces lost another 1,310 troops, one aircraft, seven tanks, and 59 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on July 9.

According to the latest figures, Russia’s total estimated personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,414,820.

Ukraine’s military also reported the destruction of three armored combat vehicles, four multiple launch rocket systems, one air defense system, four ground robotic systems, 1,843 operational-tactical UAVs, 363 vehicles and fuel tankers, and four pieces of special equipment over the past day.

Overall Russian losses reported by Ukraine now include 12,107 tanks, 24,906 armored combat vehicles, 45,628 artillery systems, 1,922 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,479 air defense systems, 437 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,857 ground robotic systems, 398,763 operational-tactical UAVs, 4,887 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 117,910 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,402 pieces of special equipment.

Ukraine’s General Staff said 268 combat engagements were recorded along the front line over the past day, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions.

Earlier, reports emerged that Moldovan citizens trying to enter Russia were facing intense interrogations and pressure to sign military contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry.

Border guards are targeting men aged 18 to 60, people traveling alone, individuals holding newly issued passports, and those who have previously traveled to Ukraine or hold Russian citizenship.
