Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,370 Troops, 5 Tanks, and 71 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces sustained another 1,370 personnel losses over the past day, along with five tanks and 71 artillery systems, according to figures released by Ukraine’s General Staff on June 18.
The report estimates that Russia has lost approximately 1,388,050 troops since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Over the same period, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 4 armored fighting vehicles, three multiple launch rocket systems, 4 air defense systems, 7 ground robotic platforms, 1,996 operational-tactical drones, 431 vehicles and fuel tankers, and three units of special equipment.
According to the General Staff, Russia’s cumulative equipment losses now stand at 12,038 tanks, 24,779 armored combat vehicles, 44,240 artillery systems, 1,877 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,431 air defense systems.
The total also includes 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 357,589 operational-tactical drones, 4,783 cruise missiles, 33 ships and boats, two submarines, 108,425 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,306 pieces of special equipment.

The military added that 259 combat clashes were recorded across the front line during the reporting period.
According to NATO assessments, Russia has incurred between 1.3 million and 1.45 million casualties since launching its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, including an estimated 500,000 troops killed.
