Russian aviation losses remained unchanged at 449 aircraft and 356 helicopters, while naval losses stood at 35 ships and boats and two submarines.
Another 266 vehicles and fuel tankers were recorded as lost during the latest reporting period, pushing cumulative losses in that category to 167,738. Special equipment losses remained at 4,859.
Ukrainian and Russian forces clashed 191 times across the front over the past day, with the heaviest fighting reported on the Pokrovsk axis.
Russian forces launched 32 attacks in that sector alone, making it the most active area of the front during the latest 24-hour reporting period.
Previous reports indicated that Russia’s offensive in Ukraine has effectively gone into reverse in recent weeks, with Moscow losing more territory than it has captured since the beginning of September while its personnel losses continue to climb.
Since September 1, Russian forces have lost a net 241 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory—meaning Ukrainian gains have exceeded Russian advances by that amount.
