Over 253 tons of critical energy equipment sent from Lithuania arrived in two regions of Ukraine last week.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine on October 5, the shipment contained three power transformers designated for the Khmelnytskyi region.

It also included a 200 MVA autotransformer and 76 units of auxiliary equipment intended for Ukrenergo.

"This equipment will help strengthen Ukraine's electricity transmission and distribution networks and support the repair of infrastructure damaged by Russian attacks," the statement noted.

The incoming aid will bolster transmission and distribution networks across the country while assisting in the restoration of infrastructure targeted during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

In July 2026, Germany delivered over 80 tons of energy equipment to Ukraine’s Poltava region, including transformer substations, emergency diesel generators, pumps, and a heat exchanger to maintain critical infrastructure and support repairs.

Additionally, national power company Ukrenergo received 20 voltage transformers from Germany to replace machinery damaged in Russian attacks across four regions.

The delivery came as the United States and European allies pledged at least €375 million ($423.75 million) in new funding during an "Energy Ramstein" meeting to reinforce Ukraine’s Energy Support Fund and secure its power grid.
