The footage, published by the unit following operations on October 4, shows a Russian serviceman on the battlefield shortly before he is targeted by an FPV drone.
The resemblance prompted the Ukrainian unit to jokingly compare the soldier to Putin in its Telegram post. There is no indication that the serviceman had any actual connection to the Russian leader.
Magyar’s Birds said the strike was part of its combat activity on October 4, when the unit claimed to have hit 204 Russian troops. According to figures published by the brigade, 119 were killed and 85 wounded.

The unit also reported 731 Russian personnel killed or wounded during operations between October 1 and October 4.
The 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade specializes in drone warfare and operates FPV strike drones and other unmanned systems along the front line.
Earlier, on September 16, a Russian soldier on the Pokrovsk front attempted to evade a Ukrainian FPV drone by remaining completely still among the trees after spotting the approaching UAV. The attempt failed, with the drone operator identifying the soldier despite his effort to blend into the surrounding vegetation.
