Non-residential buildings were damaged in Raihorodok of the Mykolaivka community, while administrative buildings and a vehicle were struck in Sloviansk. A private house was also damaged in Kramatorsk, with additional destruction reported in the villages of Samiilivka, Andriivka, and Oleksandrivka.

In Druzhkivka alone, six people were injured during earlier strikes, with private homes and a multi-storey residential building also damaged. In total, Russian forces carried out 24 attacks on populated areas in the Donetsk region over the course of the day, authorities said.

The strikes on Druzhkivka come amid ongoing reports of the use of prohibited munitions in other parts of the Donetsk region. According to Ukraine’s “Khyzhak” brigade of the Patrol Police Department, Russian forces have also employed banned phosphorus munitions against the town of Kostiantynivka in the same region.

According to the statement, aerial reconnaissance personnel from the brigade recorded what they described as a violation of international humanitarian law. The UAV footage, filmed by an operator with the call sign “Avrora,” shows multiple burning phosphorus fragments falling over residential areas of the city.
