Russia Launched 67 Attacks on Ukrainian Port Infrastructure in July

Russian forces carried out 67 attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure in July and have launched five more strikes since the beginning of August, Ukraine's Ministry for Restoration, Infrastructure and Transport said on August 3.
According to the ministry, Russia also targeted civilian vessels both inside Ukrainian ports and along the Ukrainian maritime corridor.

“A total of 67 attacks on seaport infrastructure, 35 attacks on civilian vessels in ports, and 22 attacks on ships operating in the Ukrainian maritime corridor were recorded in July,” the ministry said.
The ministry warned that the intensity of strikes against Ukraine's port infrastructure continues to increase.
It said that in the first days of August alone, Russian forces had carried out five attacks on seaport facilities, three attacks on civilian vessels in ports, and two attacks on ships sailing through the Ukrainian maritime corridor.
On August 3, transport infrastructure facilities in Ukraine's Odesa region again came under attack, along with civilian vessels located in the ports of Greater Odesa and the Danube region.
The latest strike injured ten people, according to the ministry. All of the wounded are receiving medical treatment, while emergency services continue efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
The ministry stressed that Russia is not only targeting vessels actively transporting cargo. Civilian ships that remain moored or anchored after sustaining previous damage and are no longer conducting cargo operations have also come under attack.
“Systematic strikes on port infrastructure and civilian vessels pose a threat not only to Ukraine. They directly affect the stability of international logistics, global trade, and worldwide food security,” the statement read.
The development comes as Russia has significantly increased its missile campaign against Ukraine. According to data compiled by the Eye of Horus monitoring group and cited by Militarnyi on August 2, Russian forces launched approximately 126 ballistic missiles in July—including Iskander-M, North Korean KN-23, and S-300 and S-400 systems—marking the highest monthly total recorded this year.
The figures show a broader upward trend in Russia's use of ballistic missiles, with 96 launches in June, 86 in May, 50 in April, 39 in March, 116 in February, and 74 in January.
