“A drone struck a civilian electric train. Many people have been killed. A lot are wounded… This is a war of genocide.” Filatov wrote.

Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration, later confirmed that the death toll had risen to 13.

“Thirteen people were killed as a result of the Russian attack on Dnipro. At least five others were wounded. Medics are providing all necessary assistance,” Hanzha said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later reported that the number of injured in the Russian strike on a railway station in Dnipro increased to 10 people.

Ukraine’s state railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia said Russia used a jet-powered UAV to strike the railway station in Dnipro.

“The strike hit one of the platforms, where train No. 866 Dnipro-Zaporizhzhia was located at the time. Despite the heightened danger alert, people were on the platform. There are dead and wounded,” the company said.

Earlier, Russian ballistic missiles struck the territory of a university campus, Kyoto Park, areas adjacent to a metro station, and nearby residential quarters in Kyiv. One person has been killed and nine injured, most of them students living in a university dormitory.
