According to information published by the monitoring group Dosye Shpiona and cited by Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi on June 1, the strike targeted the base of Russia’s 126th Separate Coastal Defense Brigade in the settlement of Perevalne, Crimea.
The group published photographs showing damage to military facilities on the base, including barracks and a dining hall used by Russian personnel.

Dosye Shpiona reported that the attack involved two missiles and two jet-powered drones. The main strike reportedly hit an area where personnel and military infrastructure of the brigade were located.
“The strike was carried out on May 28. Two missiles and two jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicles were used in the attack,” Dosye Shpiona stated.
According to the same source, preliminary casualty figures indicate that 15 Russian troops were killed and 26 were injured. The reported losses have not been independently verified.
Images released by Dosye Shpiona show visible damage to several structures within the military compound. The group said the barracks and dining facility sustained direct hits during the attack.

The 126th Brigade is one of Russia’s key ground formations stationed in occupied Crimea and has been involved in military operations since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces struck a rare ST-68 (19Zh6 Tin Shield) radar station near Feodosia in occupied Crimea, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. The Soviet-designed radar remains part of Russia’s air defense network on the peninsula.
Days before that strike, Ukrainian forces also reported the destruction of a 5N63S radar system, a key command-and-guidance component of Russia’s S-300 air defense complex.
