Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces has disclosed details of a domestically produced strike drone known as MORRIGAN, which the unit says is being used to target Russian military logistics along key supply routes linking temporary occupied Mariupol and Crimea.

The MORRIGAN is a fixed-wing strike drone developed in cooperation with operators from Ukraine’s 412th Nemesis Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces. The system is described as a middle-strike platform designed to engage targets deep behind Russian lines.

The brigade released footage showing attacks on Russian military trucks traveling along the R-280 “Novorossiya” highway, a major transport corridor running through temporarily occupied southern Ukraine. Ukrainian operators said the drone has been used against Russian military logistics moving between temporary occupied Mariupol, Melitopol, and Crimea.

In a statement, the brigade said the drone “has repeatedly operated in Crimea and destroyed top-priority Russian air defense and support targets” and is currently conducting operations “from Mariupol to Crimea.”

The MORRIGAN is part of a growing category of Ukrainian middle-strike systems intended to bridge the gap between short-range tactical drones and long-range deep-strike platforms. According to the brigade, the aircraft is designed for maneuverability and rear-area interdiction missions against Russian military infrastructure and transport assets.

The disclosure comes as Ukrainian forces continue expanding drone operations against Russian logistics networks in temporarily occupied territories. In late May, the Nemesis Brigade published additional footage showing strikes against Russian trucks on routes connecting temporarily occupied Mariupol, Melitopol, and Simferopol, claiming the attacks disrupted military supply movements in southern Ukraine.

The development follows a broader trend of Ukrainian drone operations targeting Russian transport corridors far from the front line. Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Directorate reported that its drone operators had established fire control over key sections of the Russian logistics corridor linking temporary occupied Berdiansk, Melitopol, and Dzhankoi, releasing footage of strikes on fuel tankers, military trucks, and transport vehicles moving toward Crimea.
