Operators from Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces have targeted heavy Russian military equipment and disrupted key logistics lines across the Donetsk region, the branch reported on May 28.

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, precision strikes conducted by the Phoenix unit hit multiple enemy artillery systems, military transport vehicles, and specialized equipment utilized for moving ammunition, tactical supplies, and personnel.

The strikes have significantly degraded the offensive capabilities of the Russian forces in the area, the Unmanned Systems Forces detailed.

By destroying these vital transport and combat assets, the drone operations have complicated the replenishment of forward Russian positions and severely restricted their tactical maneuverability along this sector of the front line, the Unmanned Systems Forces wrote.

This frontline degradation follows deep cross-border drone strikes targeting Moscow’s artillery infrastructure. The Bulava Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade has recently published footage showing precision strikes against a major concentration of Russian artillery inside Russia’s border regions.

The operation destroyed an array of heavy weaponry, including 2S19 Msta-S and 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers, as well as 2S4 Tyulpan heavy mortars.
