Operators of Ukraine’s 413th Separate “Raid” Brigade and the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck a deployment site belonging to Russia’s 9th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.

According to the statement published by the 413th Brigade via Facebook on May 28, the targeted brigade is part of Russia’s 51st Army.

The strike was carried out near the village of Bezimenne, a settlement on the Azov Sea coast that has been under Russian occupation since 2014.

Ukrainian forces said Russian troops had deliberately established the base on the grounds of the former Zironka children’s camp, using civilian infrastructure to conceal the military facility.

The military also released footage showing the strike.

According to the Unmanned Systems Forces, this marked the second successful attack by “Raid” operators against facilities linked to the 9th Motorized Rifle Brigade. Previously, in May, they struck the brigade’s command post in temporarily occupied Pokrovsk,” the statement said.

The military added that in April, operators from the same brigade also hit a temporary deployment point of Russia’s 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade, described as the “core” of the Russian Armed Forces’ 29th Combined Arms Army.

In a separate development, Ukraine’s military intelligence agency said it carried out a special operation in temporarily occupied Melitopol that targeted a Russian vehicle used by drone operators.

According to Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), the explosion took place on September 27 at a secured Russian military facility located in the Melitopol airfield district in occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian intelligence stated that the blast destroyed a UAZ military van, commonly referred to as a “bukhanka,” which was carrying at least four Russian servicemen at the time of the strike.

HUR said those killed were operators of Russian unmanned aerial systems. The agency also released video footage that it said showed the attack and its aftermath.

Earlier this month, multiple fixed-wing drones targeted sites in Grozny, the capital of Chechnya, according to Russian outlet Astra.

One of the drones was said to have hit a military facility in the Khankala district on the outskirts of the city, where the headquarters of Russia’s 42nd Guards Motor Rifle Division is based. The division is part of the 58th Combined Arms Army under Russia’s Southern Military District and has taken part in combat operations against Ukraine.

Another drone fell near Grozny’s central railway station, with analysts suggesting the intended target may have been the regional headquarters of Russia’s Federal Security Service located nearby.
