In the Donetsk area, Ukrainian forces targeted a telecommunications hub used by Russian troops, according to the General Staff.

Further south, a command post belonging to a Russian military unit was struck near Shchaslyvtseve in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.

Ukrainian forces also targeted concentrations of Russian personnel near Sokolohirsk in the Luhansk region and Burlatske in the Donetsk region.

Additional strikes were reported in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. Near Siverskodonetsk, Ukrainian forces hit a facility used to store drones, while an ammunition depot was targeted near Khrustalne.

The General Staff did not provide further details on the extent of the damage or Russian losses resulting from the strikes.

The strikes followed a series of Ukrainian drone operations against Russian military equipment across several frontline sectors. On October 4, Ukrainian military units reported that drone operators had destroyed a Russian tank and targeted artillery systems and logistics vehicles.

Ukraine’s 16th Army Corps published footage showing operators from the Hart border brigade conducting strikes in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector. Among the targets was a Russian tank that had been moved from cover into an area under intensified Ukrainian drone surveillance.
