Ukrainian forces targeted an ammunition depot near Karlivka in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, the General Staff reported.
Five Russian UAV command posts were also struck during the operation. Two were located near Ustinka and Zhuravlivka in Russia’s Belgorod region, while three others were targeted near Novoivanivka, Nove, and Mali Shcherbaky in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.
In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a separate Russian command post near Terny in the Donetsk region.

The strikes come amid a broader series of Ukrainian operations targeting Russian military infrastructure and logistics. On August 17, Ukraine’s 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard reported another large-scale drone operation against Russian fuel infrastructure and military logistics in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region.
According to Azov, the strikes completely destroyed facilities used to store and supply fuel to Russian troops. The corps also released footage showing attack drones hitting fuel storage sites across the occupied part of the Donetsk region.
The operation followed another series of strikes overnight on August 16, when Ukrainian forces targeted Russian military and logistics facilities, including a railway bridge used for military logistics, ammunition and supply depots, and a missile unit.
