Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SSO) have conducted an operation in the Oleksandrivka direction, liberating the settlement of Andriivka-Klevtsove and capturing 30 Russian soldiers, according to RBC-Ukraine, citing Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces.

According to SSO on August 17, Russian troops had attempted to seize the settlement using small assault groups. Over time, Russian forces managed to advance into the area and establish positions.

The operation to retake Andriivka-Klevtsove was carried out by operators from the SSO’s 3rd Brigade in coordination with one of the Special Operations Forces’ psychological operations centers.

Footage released by the SSO shows the ground phase of the operation, with Ukrainian special forces moving through the settlement, forcing Russian troops from their positions, and gradually restoring Ukrainian control over the area.

As a result, 30 Russian servicemen surrendered and were taken prisoner. Russian troops who continued to resist were killed, according to the SSO.

Following the operation, Andriivka-Klevtsove is again under Ukrainian control.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces have regained control of almost the entire Dnipropetrovsk region, with Russian troops retaining positions only near the settlement of Dachne, where fighting is ongoing.

Ukrainian troops continue operations to drive Russian forces from the remaining occupied area and restore full Ukrainian control over the region.
