The unit released footage of the operation on Facebook, showing Ukrainian special forces conducting an ambush against Russian troops operating behind enemy lines.

Before carrying out the attack, Ukrainian operators reportedly crossed Russian minefields undetected and infiltrated deep into enemy-held territory.

Over the following several days, the special forces personnel conducted reconnaissance, gathering intelligence and identifying potential targets for subsequent strikes.

During the mission, Ukrainian operators spotted Russian soldiers traveling in a vehicle and opened fire on the car using small arms. The ambush resulted in the deaths of Russian military personnel and the destruction of their vehicle, according to the unit.

Following the engagement, Ukrainian special forces searched the vehicle and recovered equipment used for unmanned aerial vehicles, radio communication devices, and weapons.

The captured materials also included mobile phones, combat orders, detailed movement routes, and lists of Russian military personnel.

After completing the ambush and securing the captured materials, the Ukrainian operators continued carrying out missions behind Russian lines.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have also reported successful operations against Russian infantry in other sectors of the frontline, including the Lyman direction.

On October 29, the Signum Battalion of the 59th Yakiv Handziuk Assault Brigade of Unmanned Systems published footage showing Ukrainian FPV drone operators targeting Russian troops in the area.

According to the battalion, one Russian soldier attempted to evade a Ukrainian drone by hiding in a river but was ultimately located and struck.
