Streeting will travel to Poland for high-level talks with Kosiniak-Kamysz, followed by the official signing ceremony and joint statements from both officials.
This upcoming agreement builds on a prior defense partnership pact inked by the two nations in May 2026.
That agreement focused on tech integration, joint military exercises, enhanced cyber security measures, and the development of next-generation medium-range missiles and air defense ammunition.

The alliance also aligns with broader efforts to strengthen ties between London and the European Union.
On May 27, 2026, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a historic Security and Defense Partnership Treaty in London, officially designating Russia as the primary threat to European stability.
The agreement was designed to elevate bilateral military cooperation to its highest level and enable rapid, direct defense responses in the event of a regional crisis without awaiting unanimous consensus from NATO’s 32 members.
Tusk underscored that while Poland remained fully committed to the transatlantic alliance, building swift, bilateral mechanisms with key allies like the UK and France was essential to counter regional aggression effectively—particularly as Washington prepared to gradually reduce its military footprint on the continent.
