The women's CWT competition took place on the final day of women's events. In this discipline, athletes descend and ascend using a monofin or bifins while maintaining constant weight, without adding or removing ballast during the dive.

Hungarian freediver Zsófia Törőcsik initially declared a 115-meter attempt but turned early at a depth of 108 meters, resulting in penalty points that affected her final standing.

Zharkova subsequently attempted a 113-meter dive, successfully reaching the declared depth and completing her performance without penalties. Her result secured the gold medal and the best women's performance in the discipline at the championships.

France's Jade Agboton claimed silver with a 101-meter dive, while Törőcsik finished third despite reaching 108 meters because of the penalties incurred during her attempt.

According to Suspilne Sport, Zharkova's victory also contributed to her overall performance at the championships. The Ukrainian athlete finished sixth in the combined standings with 284 points.

Her achievement follows another milestone for Ukrainian freediving on the international stage. In November 2025, Ukrainian freediver Kateryna Sadurska set a new world record in the Constant Weight No Fins discipline, reaching a depth of 86 meters during the Blue Element competition in Dominica.

Sadurska completed the record-breaking dive in 3 minutes and 32 seconds, taking ten strokes during her descent before entering freefall and another 31 strokes to return to the surface.
