
Gonzalo Leon Bustos
Gonzalo Leon Bustos is a Spanish journalist, writer and activist based between Brussels and Kyiv. He lived in Ukraine for many years and holds a BA from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Belgium. Fluent in Spanish, French, English, and Ukrainian, his work experience focuses on culture as a tool of direct resistance, political engagement, and international solidarity. He is the founder of the Vidlyuti Collective, which mobilizes cultural production as an active form of resistance, and an active member of the Ukrainian Solidarity Café, a non-profit restaurant in Brussels dedicated to raising funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also works in international relations and fundraising for the Ukrainian non-profit Victory Partners UA. Volunteer-based experience allowed him to regularly travel to the front line areas as part of his ongoing commitment to Ukraine.
