The Flamingo is one of the long-range strike missiles Ukraine has built at home to reach targets far inside Russia. The correspondent noted that its presence in Kielce placed one of Kyiv's newer missile programs before an international defense audience.
Ukroboronprom, Ukraine's state-owned defense conglomerate, presented further missiles alongside the Flamingo, the correspondent observed. Their appearance underscored the widening role of Ukraine's own industry in arming its forces.

The show put Ukrainian-made missiles before the ministers, military representatives, and industry buyers who fill one of Europe's largest arms shows. The exhibition ranks among the continent's three most significant, after those held in Paris and London.
The appearance in Kielce follows a growing pattern of Ukrainian manufacturers bringing their missiles to Europe's major defense shows.
In August, Ukrainian firms displayed full-scale models of the Flamingo cruise missile, the FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles, and the FP-1 deep-strike drone at DALO Industry Days in Herning, Denmark, on August 19 and 20.
It marked the second consecutive year Ukrainian companies took part, using the Danish exhibition to court European partners and procurement officials.
