It was previously reported that Russia’s latest missile and drone attacks have left large parts of Kyiv without electricity, heating, and water during subzero temperatures, forcing residents to improvise daily survival as emergency power outages stretch into days.

Grntmedia cited the embassy saying the donation will help strengthen energy resilience for civilians and the military amid ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine’s infrastructure.

Recently, the Czech fundraising initiative “A Gift for Putin” has raised $6.2 million to purchase generators for Ukraine.

The campaign drew donations from around 75,000 people. It was launched on January 21 and collected more than $47,000 within the first few hours.

Another nation that sent generators to aid Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure is Poland. It has dispatched 400 generators of various types from government reserves to assist Kyiv and nearby communities amid ongoing energy challenges.
