Caribbean State of Antigua and Barbuda Joins Final Communiqué of the Summit on Peace for Ukraine

The Caribbean state of Antigua and Barbuda has joined the final Communiqué of the Summit on Peace for Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the state and noted that it is the first country not present at the summit to join the final document.

“This demonstrates that our Peace Formula and vision for a just and lasting peace are shared by every continent and region of the world, from Europe to the Caribbean. And this coalition will only grow,” Zelenskyy wrote.

The joint communiqué concluded the two-day Summit on Peace for Ukraine at the Burgenstock resort in Switzerland that took place on June 15-16, 2024.
