Czech Volunteers Deliver Black Hawk Helicopter to Ukraine Through Public Donations

A Czech volunteer group, Darek pro Putina (“Gift for Putin”), has delivered a Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter to Ukraine, funded entirely through public donations.
The organization announced the delivery on X, sharing photos of the helicopter in Ukraine and expressing gratitude to over 20,000 contributors who helped raise the funds.
Dámy a pánové. Helikoptéra Black Hawk UH-60 Čestmír je na Ukrajině. Děkujeme všem, kteří tomu věřili a přispěli. Bylo vás více než 20 000. Česká republika se dneškem stala první zemí na světě jejíž občané darovali Ukrajině helikoptéru. A pomohlo i dost Slováků. Bylo nám ctí.🫡 pic.twitter.com/MNHwLsxg52

“Today, the Czech Republic became the first country in the world whose citizens gifted a helicopter to Ukraine. Slovaks also contributed. It has been an honor for us,” the activists said.
In March, the initiative raised over $3 million to purchase the helicopter for Ukraine.
Earlier, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský announced that Ukraine received more than one million large-calibre artillery rounds under the Czech-led ammunition initiative this year, with the goal set at 1.8 million shells by year-end.
