Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,300 Troops and 73 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost 1,300 personnel and 73 artillery systems over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 28.
The updated battlefield tally published by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense put Russia’s total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion at 1,294,470.

According to the General Staff, Russian forces also lost during the day:
4 tanks;
10 armored fighting vehicles;
7 multiple launch rocket systems;
1,501 operational-tactical drones;
227 vehicles and fuel tankers;
5 units of special equipment.

Cumulative Russian losses also include:
11,812 tanks;
24,297 armored fighting vehicles;
38,936 artillery systems;
1,707 multiple launch rocket systems;
1,337 air defense systems;
435 aircraft;
350 helicopters.
The General Staff also reported that Russia’s cumulative losses in operational-tactical UAVs had risen to 202,112 since the start of the full-scale war.
At the same time, Ukrainian unmanned systems forces reported another successful strike on a Russian Tor air defense system in the Luhansk region, hit by the 414th “Birds of Magyar” brigade with the Deep Strike Center.
Designed for divisional air and missile defense, the Tor can engage targets at short range and low altitude, while moving from travel to combat readiness in roughly three minutes.
