Daily Update: Russia Loses 810 Troops, 4 Tanks and 52 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russia’s military lost 810 troops, four tanks, one air defense system, and one multiple launch rocket system over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 14.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, total Russian combat losses are estimated at approximately:

  • personnel—about 1,278,430 (+810);

  • tanks—11,777 (+4);

  • armored combat vehicles—24,212 (+10);

  • artillery systems—38,421 (+52);

  • multiple launch rocket systems—1,686 (+1);

  • air defense systems—1,332 (+1);

  • aircraft—435 (0);

  • helicopters—349 (0);

  • operational-tactical drones—177,286 (+2,147);

  • cruise missiles—4,403 (0);

  • warships/boats—31 (0);

  • submarines—2 (0);

  • vehicles and fuel tankers—83,403 (+180);

  • special equipment—4,088 (0).

Ukrainian military officials also reported 153 combat engagements across the frontline during the past 24 hours.

The heaviest fighting was recorded in the Kostiantynivka (29 attacks), Pokrovsk (25 attacks), and Huliaipole (20 attacks) directions.

During the same period, Russian forces carried out one missile strike using a single missile, as well as 104 airstrikes, dropping 307 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, Russian forces launched 10,119 attack drones and conducted 3,623 strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 60 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems, according to the report.

Ukraine’s aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 10 areas of Russian troop and equipment concentrations, as well as one artillery system over the past day, the General Staff reported.

Earlier, ERR reported, citing Gert Kayu, Head of the Defense Readiness Department at Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense, that Russia is rapidly depleting its stockpile of anti-aircraft missiles as military operations intensify, forcing Russian forces to prioritize which strategic targets to defend while Ukraine continues to expand the use of drones and long-range strikes across the battlefield.
