Russian forces lost an estimated 910 troops over the past 24 hours, alongside multiple pieces of military equipment, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on April 24, as fighting remained intense across the front line.

According to the update, total Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022 have reached approximately 1,323,460 personnel.

The latest figures also include the destruction of four tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 32 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, and two air defense systems.

Ukrainian forces reported an additional 1,175 operational-tactical drones destroyed, along with 192 vehicles and fuel tankers.

In total, 194 combat engagements were recorded over the past day, reflecting continued high-intensity fighting.

Ukrainian officials said Russian forces carried out one missile strike using two missiles, along with 83 airstrikes that included the deployment of 277 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, Russian units launched 6,620 strike drones and conducted 2,757 shelling attacks against Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 155 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.

Earlier, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian positions in the Sumy region by moving through a gas pipeline near the village of Yablunivka, while simultaneously launching a diversionary assault using motorcycles.

The attempted infiltration ended with significant losses for Russian forces. Ukrainian troops reported 35 killed and 17 wounded, along with the destruction of three motorcycles and four all-terrain vehicles used in the assault.
