The General Staff also reported 136 combat engagements across the front line during the past day.
The most intense fighting occurred in the Huliaipole and Pokrovsk sectors, where Russian forces launched 28 and 21 assaults, respectively.
As of 8:00 a.m. on March 6, Ukrainian officials said Russian forces carried out 75 airstrikes and dropped 233 guided aerial bombs during the previous day.

In addition, Russian troops launched 7,951 suicide drones and conducted 3,413 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 63 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems, according to the General Staff.
Earlier, Ukraine marked one year of its “Drone Line” initiative, saying $880 million in support has helped drone units account for heavy Russian losses.
“Drone Line” units account for nearly one in four Russian servicemembers put out of action at the front.
It added that the share rose to one in three in January and February. It also said the Unmanned Systems Forces, which include these units, put about 30,000 Russian troops out of action over the winter.
