The Danish government has cleared more than 20 laws and regulations to allow a Ukrainian weapons manufacturer Fire Point to rapidly build a factory in Skrydstrup, near the F-35 base, according to a report by Danish public broadcaster DR on September 15.

The facility will produce solid rocket fuel, a main component for Ukraine’s missile programs.

Under a new law led by Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, authorities can temporarily override certain rules to accelerate projects critical for national defense or civil emergencies.

Fire Point, the Ukrainian company, can begin operations immediately, while authorities ensure that safety, health, and environmental standards will be fully met over time.

“As a general rule, we have planned to do this in areas where formal permits and process requirements make it difficult to establish the factory quickly. The relevant authorities have been closely involved in this,” the Danish Business Authority said.

The law includes a sunset clause set for 2028 and allows similar flexibility for other defense-related projects, from barracks to additional facilities, highlighting Denmark’s commitment to supporting Ukraine while safeguarding long-term compliance.

Previously, it was reported that NATO launched a new mission under the name Eastern Sentry to reinforce its eastern flank, with Secretary General Mark Rutte presenting the plan at a joint press conference in Brussels alongside Supreme Allied Commander Europe Gen. Alexus Grynkewich.
