The French government is preparing to distribute a crisis and survival manual to all households by this summer. This booklet, which draws inspiration from Sweden’s model, will guide citizens on how to respond to various threats, including armed conflict, natural disasters, and health crises.

Europe 1 reported on March 18 that the manual will be divided into three parts: “Protecting Yourself,” which offers practical advice on preparing a survival kit and maintaining solidarity, “What to Do in the Event of an Alert,” which includes emergency contact numbers and specific actions for different crises, such as closing all doors in the event of a nuclear accident, and “Get Involved,” which encourages citizens to participate in civic duties like joining reserves.

The government aims to ensure that the French population is ready for a wide range of potential emergencies, emphasizing resilience and preparation.

The survival guide’s title is still under consideration, with two options focused on either neutrality or unification.

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda called on the United States to station nuclear weapons in Poland, emphasizing the move as essential to deterring Russia.
