Latvia has started producing Patria 6×6 armored personnel carriers for Ukraine, with the first batch already being assembled, the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia reported on February 4.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Latvia Anatolii Kutsevol visited the Valmiera facility on February 3 to inspect the production process. This initiative is part of Latvia’s broader military assistance to Ukraine, which also includes training, drone supplies, and other equipment transfers.

During a meeting with Romanovs, the Ukrainian Ambassador reviewed the production of the first batch of six-wheeled Patria 6×6 armored personnel carriers, which are set to be delivered to Ukraine to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
