Norway has increased its funding to support Ukraine to at least 35 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately $3.16 billion) by 2025, according to the Norwegian government's website.

Of this amount, 22.5 billion Norwegian kroner (nearly $2 billion) will go toward military support, and 12.5 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately $1.1 billion) will be allocated to humanitarian and civilian aid.

"Aid to Ukraine must be directed to areas of greatest need. Next year, we plan to allocate 22.5 billion Norwegian kroner for military support and 12.5 billion Norwegian kroner for civilian and humanitarian aid. As for military assistance, the priority will be to support Ukraine's defense industry. The Russian regime is bombing Ukraine's energy production facilities, and we will also help ensure that the Ukrainian population has access to electricity," stated Prime Minister Støre.

This support is part of the Nansen Program, which prioritizes military aid and will continue until 2030. During this period, the program's total funding has been expanded to at least 154.5 billion Norwegian kroner (approximately $13.96 billion).

"For Ukraine, it is essential that the support continues over several years and that there is cross-party agreement on this. The Ukrainian people must know that Norway's support will persist. I want to thank the parties in the Storting for their excellent cooperation," said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

Previously, the Heads of Government from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Norway, Poland, and Sweden met to address regional security challenges, reaffirming their commitment to Euro-Atlantic security and their continued support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.
