Partisans from the Atesh movement say they have carried out a sabotage operation deep inside Russia, destroying a key communications node used by the military in the Sverdlovsk region.
According to a statement released by the group on April 15, the target was a telecommunications cabinet connected to a major communications tower in the settlement of Gorny Shchit, a site described as critical for maintaining secure command and data transmission channels.

“Our agents continue to burn down the aggressor’s military infrastructure deep in the rear. In the settlement of Gorny Shchit, a telecommunications cabinet of a key communications tower was successfully destroyed, providing operational control and secure data transmission channels for the headquarters of the Central Military District,” the statement said.
The group claims the location plays a central role in Russia’s military logistics network, coordinating the movement of reserves and equipment toward the Pokrovsk direction.
“Sabotage paralyzed the information exchange system for the 90th Guards Tank Division, whose main formation points and rear supply bases are tied to this sector of the Sverdlovsk region,” the partisans said.

According to Atesh, the disruption has already had immediate effects. Damage to the communications infrastructure reportedly caused failures in automated rear command systems, creating what the group described as a “blind zone” between logistics hubs in the Urals and frontline units.
As a result, troop deployments and supply schedules were thrown off, including delays in train loading and the dispatch of marching units.
“The Urals are no longer a safe ‘fortress’ for the regime. Any infrastructure serving the war machine will burn—from command offices to field communication nodes. While Putin’s generals try to advance at the front, we are systematically destroying their nervous system deep in the rear,” the statement added.

The movement says each successful act of sabotage translates into logistical disruption for Russian forces and, ultimately, saves lives on the battlefield.
“We identify vulnerable points and strike with precision,” the group said.
Earlier, agents of the Atesh partisan movement carried out two simultaneous acts of sabotage on a railway section between Stary Oskol and Urazove, targeting a key Russian supply route toward the Kupiansk direction.
The strike hit one of the most critical logistics arteries used by Russian forces, disrupting the delivery of ammunition, equipment, and provisions. The route was reportedly used to supply units including the 138th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade and the 45th Engineer-Sapper Regiment, both of which were in urgent need of reinforcements.
