Agents of the Atesh partisan movement carried out two simultaneous acts of sabotage on a railway section between Stary Oskol and Urazove, targeting a key Russian supply route toward the Kupiansk direction, the group reported on April 8.

According to Atesh, the strike hit one of the most critical logistics arteries used by Russian forces, disrupting the delivery of ammunition, equipment, and provisions.

The route was reportedly used to supply units including the 138th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade and the 45th Engineer-Sapper Regiment, both of which were in urgent need of reinforcements.

Following the sabotage, rail traffic along the section was effectively paralyzed. The destruction of two control cabinets at the same time caused a systemic failure in rail management, significantly reducing the route’s capacity.

As a result, supply trains were halted, and schedules disrupted, leaving deliveries stranded.

According to Atesh, the disruption had immediate consequences on the battlefield, with Russian units reportedly suffering losses in personnel and equipment after being cut off from resupply at a critical moment.

Earlier, Atesh’s sabotage operation near Simferopol in temporarily occupied Crimea disrupted Russian military logistics, after a locomotive used to transport supplies to frontline units was put out of action.
