Partisans from the underground resistance movement Atesh carried out a sabotage operation near occupied Sevastopol aimed at disabling Russian electronic warfare systems, the group said on Telegram on February 26.
According to the movement, agents successfully damaged the communications infrastructure used to interfere with Ukrainian drone operations in the area.

The target was a radio-electronic warfare (EW) installation mounted on a tower near the village of Honcharne. The facility hosted antennas designed to jam Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles operating in the sector.
“This tower was equipped with EW antennas that created interference for our drones in the area. Atesh agents set fire to relay cabinets at the base of the tower—these contain the power electronics and high-frequency cables,” the partisan group said.
“When they are damaged, the antennas at the top turn into useless scrap metal because the signal simply cannot reach them,” the statement added.

Atesh said restoring the damaged equipment would be difficult, costly, and time-consuming. As a result of the sabotage, Russian electronic warfare activity in the area was reportedly halted entirely.
The group claimed the operation effectively opened an “air corridor” for Ukrainian Defense Forces drones, making nearby Russian military facilities more vulnerable to strikes.
According to Atesh, the affected area includes several key Russian military sites, namely the 58th Logistics Support Center, which stores reserve communications equipment for Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, “Alsu-2” backup command post of the Black Sea Fleet, and the 15th Separate Coastal Missile and Artillery Brigade.

“This has opened an air corridor for the effective use of drones by Ukraine’s Defense Forces. Nearby military facilities have now become easy targets,” the group said.
“We continue methodically switching off the occupiers, clearing the skies for Ukraine’s Defense Forces,” the statement concluded.
Earlier, Atesh destroyed a Russian military communications facility in Lipetsk. Its agents carried out a sabotage operation that resulted in the destruction of a communications tower used to transmit data and coordinate Russian Armed Forces units.
