The partisan movement ATESH has destroyed a Russian military communications facility in Lipetsk.

According to a statement released by the group on February 19, its agents carried out a sabotage operation that resulted in the destruction of a communications tower used to transmit data and coordinate Russian Armed Forces units.

ATESH reported that the tower’s coverage area included the 924th Combat Training and Retraining Center for Unmanned Aviation Units, the Lipetsk military airfield, and the 260th arsenal of Russia’s Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU).

The movement noted that GRAU arsenals across Russia have been increasingly targeted in recent months. Disrupting communications near the 260th arsenal, it said, could significantly weaken coordination and response capabilities in the event of further strikes.

According to ATESH, such towers provide both service and military communication channels, including backup lines. The destruction of the facility allegedly caused communication disruptions, interruptions in data transmission, and reduced operational control of affected units.

“Even deep inside Russia’s rear areas, critical infrastructure remains vulnerable. Each such facility is part of the system supporting the war effort, and its destruction is a direct blow to the enemy’s ability to coordinate actions and respond promptly.,” the statemnet read.

In a separate operation, ATESH reported sabotaging a defense-linked industrial site in Russia, disrupting the activities of a facility connected to the production of military equipment.

According to the movement, the action took place in Izhevsk, the capital of Russia’s Udmurtia region. Movement agents set fire to a transformer substation that supplied electricity to critical workshops of the BUMMASH metallurgical plant, rendering it inoperable.

ATESH described the enterprise as an important part of Russia’s military-industrial complex, producing metal blanks and specialized alloys used in the manufacture of weapons and heavy military hardware. The damage to the power infrastructure reportedly forced a temporary suspension of operations at one of the key facilities in the industrial zone.

“While the Kremlin demands increased production of shells and military equipment, ATESH is switching off the power at their factories,” the movement said in a statement.

Earlier, the partisan movement reported carrying out a successful act of sabotage on a railway line in Russia’s Belgorod region, interrupting the transport of ammunition, fuel, and other logistical supplies destined for Russian troops.
