Partisans in Sevastopol have uncovered a Russian command post coordinating airstrikes on southern Ukraine, located on the grounds of the former Sevastopol Aviation Plant, now operating as a branch of the state-owned enterprise Aviakomplekt.
This was reported by the partisan movement ATESH on August 12.
According to ATESH, the facility not only repairs helicopters for Russia’s Ministry of Defense but also serves as a key military logistics hub. It is here that Russian forces decide on targets and plan combat flights toward southern Ukraine.
Partisans report that officers from the Russian Aerospace Forces regularly arrive at the site from Dzhankoi and Rostov-on-Don. The facility coordinates airstrikes, services flight crews, and prepares or restores helicopter units.

ATESH noted that the command center’s operations directly contribute to the intensity of Russian attacks on civilian cities in Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
All collected intelligence on the personnel, equipment, and activities at the site has been transferred to Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Earlier, it was reported that Russian soldiers are showing a growing readiness to cooperate with Ukrainian forces, the partisan movement ATESH reported, citing a recent successful strike on Russian T-62 tanks in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
According to ATESH, the operation was enabled by intelligence from a Russian serviceman in the 57th Separate Brigade, who provided the coordinates of camouflaged tanks to the group’s agents. Ukraine’s Defense Forces used the data to carry out a precise strike, destroying the equipment.
