Agents of the ATESH resistance movement have successfully incapacitated a relay cabinet on a railway segment near Stary Oskol, Belgorod region, on the route leading towards Kupiansk.

According to the group’s statement on March 12, logistics hub was responsible for the unscheduled delivery of ammunition to the 122nd Motor Rifle Brigade and the 27th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces.

According to intelligence from a source within a neighboring Russian reconnaissance battalion, the delivery was urgent due to an ammunition shortage, which arose just prior to planned military operations.

Both units were forced to engage in combat with critically low ammunition reserves, which directly impacted their combat effectiveness and led to significant personnel losses.

The sabotage in the Belgorod region is part of an intensifying, cross-border campaign by the ATESH partisan movement to paralyze the Kremlin's railway logistics.

On March 3, ATESH claimed responsibility for disabling two critical relay cabinets in different sectors of occupied Luhansk. By destroying these technical units, the movement triggered a systemic failure in the railway's automated traffic control, effectively freezing movement along what they describe as the “occupiers' main supply artery.”

“The strike was leveled at the occupiers' main supply artery,” ATESH stated. “This line connects Russia with Luhansk, running through Debaltseve and Popasna toward the Pokrovsk direction. It is effectively the only stable route for delivering troops, ammunition, fuel, and equipment from the Russian Federation to the front lines.”

The coordinated campaign against Russia’s military logistics has expanded beyond railway infrastructure to the power grids that sustain them. In operation on March 12, the ATESH sabotaged a key power substation in Russia’s Bryansk region, further paralyzing the movement of military freight toward the Ukrainian border.
