On November 17, it was reported that the Biden administration had lifted restrictions on Ukraine using US-supplied weapons for deep strikes into Russian territory. According to officials, these weapons are expected to target Russian and North Korean forces, bolstering the defense of Ukrainian troops in Russia’s western Kursk region.
In his evening address on November 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to reports about the US lifting restrictions on long-range strikes, noting, “Such things are not announced.”
Previously, Ukraine and Lithuania inked a memorandum for joint drone production, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported on November 4.
