Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated 33,220 Russian military personnel over the course of July, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi announced in an official statement on August 1.

“Ukrainian warriors relentlessly destroy the enemy, bringing a just peace for Ukraine closer. The fight continues. Glory to Ukraine!” Syrskyi stated.

He expressed gratitude to Ukrainian defenders for their professional and courageous combat performance. The figure represents the highest single-month tally for Russian troop losses since the beginning of 2025.

This announcement follows a series of intensified Russian assaults across the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions throughout July, including repeated ground offensives and drone attacks. Ukraine’s General Staff has also reported continued high daily casualty rates for Russian forces, often exceeding 1,000 personnel per day.

Earlier, Syrskyi previously reported that since January  to  May  2025, Ukrainian deep‑strike drone operations inflicted over $10 billion in damages on Russia’s industrial sector, highlighting the strategic effectiveness of Ukraine’s unmanned systems.
