Russia Bombs Kyiv Downtown on Saturday Morning, Killing at Least Four People and Injuring Three Others
A series of powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv on the morning of January 18. Shortly afterward, the capital experienced a water supply outage. There are casualties.
As of 7:30 am, the Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, confirmed at least four people were killed and three others were injured.
More than 10 cars sustained damage, the firefighters are working on site. There is also partial destruction of an administrative building, a business center, and a store, a main water pipeline has been damaged.
Additionally, a fire was discovered in one of the buildings but has already been localized.

On January 16, Russia launched a drone attack on Kyiv during British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit. The strike took place shortly after Starmer and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy laid a wreath at the Wall of Remembrance for Ukraine’s fallen soldiers in the city center.
