Russia Intercepted Only 2 of 8 ATACMS Missiles Fired by Ukraine in Bryansk, Reuters Reports
According to Reuters sources in the US, Russia intercepted 2 out of 8 ATACMS missiles launched by Ukraine during the night of November 19.
Conversely, the Russian Ministry of Defense asserted that its forces intercepted five out of six missiles targeting a military facility in the Bryansk region, with debris striking the site and causing a small fire.
Preliminary Ukrainian sources claimed that the ATACMS strike targeted the arsenal of the Main Rocket and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the city of Karachev, Bryansk Region.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his latest remarks, declined to confirm whether Ukraine's strike on a Russian ammunition depot near Bryansk involved US-supplied ATACMS missiles. However, he highlighted Ukraine’s growing long-range capabilities, affirming their continued use in defense operations.
