According to Oleh Kiper, strike drones hit the Izmail and Odesa districts as well as the regional capital. The attacks caused fresh damage to energy and port infrastructure facilities.

“Fires broke out, and administrative buildings were damaged. No information has been reported about any fatalities or injuries.” he wrote on Telegram.

Emergency and utility services remain at the affected sites, working to eliminate the consequences of what he described as another Russian strike on civilian areas in the Odesa region.

A day earlier, on December 25, Russian troops carried out overnight strikes on port and industrial facilities in Ukraine’s Odesa region, leaving one person dead and two others wounded and triggering emergency power outages in the regional capital.

According to Oleh Kiper the attacks damaged administrative, production, and warehouse buildings. Several fires erupted but were later put out. He said the victim’s body was pulled from the rubble, while those injured were receiving medical care.

Previously, Russian forces carried out a ballistic missile strike on port facilities in the Odesa district. The attack sparked a massive fire in a truck parking area, where several cargo drivers were killed after becoming trapped inside their vehicles.
