A Russian drone strike hit a residential building in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, overnight on April 26, resulting in one fatality and four injuries, according to regional officials.
Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Serhii Lysak reported that a man was killed, while four others — an 11-year-old girl and three women aged 37, 82, and 88 — sustained injuries.

Three of the injured — the child and the two women — are receiving outpatient care. An 88-year-old woman, suffering from burns, remains hospitalized in serious condition. Medical personnel are providing necessary treatment.
The attack damaged three apartment buildings and six vehicles. Firefighters extinguished fires in two apartments of the nine-story building that was directly struck by the drone.
According to Lysak, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 11 Russian drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region during the night.

The city’s emergency services continue to work at the site. Authorities noted that more information may be released as the situation develops.
Kamianske, located approximately 35 kilometers west of Dnipro, lies along the banks of the Kamianske Reservoir. As of January 1, 2022, the city’s population was estimated at over 226,000 residents, according to Ukraine’s State Statistics Service.
