Zelenskyy: Russian Missile That Killed Twelve People in Kyiv Contained 116 Foreign Parts, Including US Tech

The ballistic missile that Russia used to strike a residential building in Kyiv on April 24 contained at least 116 foreign-made components, most of which originated from American companies, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on April 25.
According to Zelenskyy, this was a direct consequence of the international community’s insufficient pressure on North Korea and its enablers. The missile is believed to have been supplied by Pyongyang.
“The lack of sufficient pressure on Russia allows them to import such missiles and other weapons – and to use them here, in Europe. The lack of sufficient pressure on North Korea and its accomplices enables, in particular, the production of such ballistic missiles,” Zelenskyy wrote.
“The missile that killed civilians in Kyiv contained at least 116 components sourced from other countries – and most of them, unfortunately, were manufactured by American companies.”

Between 7:30 p.m. on April 23 and 6:35 a.m. on April 24, Russia launched a large-scale air and missile assault on Ukraine, targeting both critical infrastructure and civilian areas across the country.
Search and rescue operations concluded on the morning of April 25 at the residential building hit by the missile. A total of 12 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.
